Lynnerup & Ansell

Two tools for turning the records into something you can share. Compare puts up to four funders or initiatives side by side on the same fields. Briefing builder assembles a short, sourced document from the site's findings for a specific audience.

Compare

Funders and initiatives side by side

Pick up to four funders or initiatives. Each column shows the same fields, so a foundation and an initiative can be read against each other. Where an organization has published nothing the cell says so and never shows a zero. Click a column heading for details and public links.

Briefing builder

Build a short, sourced briefing in four steps

The purpose is to give you a one- or two-page document you can send to a colleague, a board member or a program officer that says what the research found, with every figure tied to a public source. It is assembled from findings that already exist on this site, so nothing in it is written on the fly.

1. Choose the reader

Pick who the briefing is for. The heading and framing follow.

2. Choose the type

An executive briefing, a funder comparison, a state policy brief and so on.

3. Tick the findings to include

Each module is one finding with its figure, the public source behind it, and our reading. Use the arrows to set the order.

4. Export

The draft updates on the right as you go. Export downloads it as a Markdown file you can paste into Word or email.

Assembled, not generated. Every module shows a finding already on this site, the public document it comes from (with a link), and our short reading of it. No AI writes any part of a briefing, so a draft cannot contain a sentence that is not already sourced here.
For Type

Findings to include

Export downloads the draft as a Markdown (.md) file. The connection into Lynnerup & Ansell's Word and PowerPoint templates is not wired in yet, so the file is handed to you to finish.
